PriceSense Privacy Policy

Summary

PriceSense works entirely inside your browser. It has no servers, no accounts and no analytics, and it never sends your data to the developer. This website does not use cookies or tracking.

What PriceSense reads

• The product name, price and specifications on Amazon.in and Flipkart pages you open, so it can find the same item on the other store.
• Search and product pages on Amazon.in and Flipkart that it opens in the background for that comparison. These requests come from your own browser, as if you had opened the pages yourself.

What PriceSense stores, and where

• Price history of products you view, your watchlist, items you confirmed as matches, and your settings.
• All of it is kept only in your browser's extension storage on your device. Removing the extension deletes it.

Optional Keepa price history

If you enter your own Keepa API key in Settings, PriceSense sends that key and the Amazon product ID to api.keepa.com to load price history. Keepa's own privacy policy applies to that request. Nothing is sent to Keepa unless you add a key.

Affiliate links

When PriceSense finds a cheaper price on the other store and you click through to it from the panel, that link may include the developer's Amazon Associates or Flipkart Affiliate tag. If you then buy something, the developer may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Amazon and Flipkart, not PriceSense, handle any purchase. PriceSense never changes the page you are browsing, never redirects you automatically, never tags links back to the store you are already on and never replaces a tag already in a link.

What PriceSense never does

• It never collects or reads your passwords, payment details or messages.
• It never sells, shares or transfers your data.
• It never tracks you on other websites. It only runs on Amazon.in and Flipkart.

PriceSense is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Amazon or Flipkart. Their names and sale names are trademarks of their respective owners.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
